What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience where attendees lay on a cushioned floor mat with a pillow and blanket, and sometimes eye mask, while being simultaneously "bathed" in sound waves & frequencies. These vibrations are produced by healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, percussion, rattles, shakers, tuning forks, and even the human voice. Chairs are also available for those would rather sit.

How long is the session?

2 hours is a recommendation for the total session. You want to arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and pick the best spot. After a sonic journey, you might feel a bit high. Best to rest for 15 minutes before you leave.

Group sound meditation sessions last 60-90 minutes, depending on the event.

Private sound sessions can be offered at 45-90 minutes, depending on the request.

How can you best show up?
  • Wear comfortable layers, shoes are removed at the door
  • Refrain from eating & drinking 2 hours before session
  • This is a sober event, please keep your energy clear
  • Bring your pillow+blanket+eye mask to better relax
